Other Lives Film Shorts #1 The Void
Other Lives Film Shorts
#1 The Void. This is a short film directed by Liz Tabish (Jesse's Sister) with music written by her brother Jesse Tabish. Liz is an extremely ambitious and talented film maker who recently released two films titled The Angle and The Erased. You can check out her IMDB here.We have started a new film composition project (Other Lives film shorts), as a result, members of the band will be working with other film makers to capture different emotions through film/music composition. The Void marks the first of many to come.

Jonathon Mooney Graduated!
Jonathon Patrick Mooney Graduated yesterday! We had a party at the studio that started at 4:00PM and lasted all night..... The Ramones were pumping around 2:45AM and the energy was still pretty thick in the room. It was nice to take a break from recording for the weekend to be with our close friends.

Basketball Diaries
There’s this newly added column made of two by fours in the studio that keeps the roof from caving in, and this week we found an additional use for it. We took my old djembe (it was a gift, I swear) which has a broken head and tied it to the column to make a basketball goal. See, we have all these mini basketballs around the studio because every time Jesse goes to the gas station down the street he plays the prize grabber game thing and wins a basketball every single time. He’s a pro. Anyway, Jesse and I had some pretty heated games today. We play best out of 10 from the line, and trash talking is definitely aloud. I’m not going to say who won today, because that would come across as bragging. Ryan (our neighbor from Colourmusic) came over today and said he was ‘glad that someone finally made good use of a djembe.’
Despite the new basketball goal, we’ve gotten a lot done. We just wrapped up a song today so we're feeling pretty good.
